Oh My Goodness, what a wonderful book. I am half-way through and I started it this evening. Partly because it is an easy read, but I had a hard time putting it down.

Basically, the trials we go through make us into who we are. That is a lame synopsis, but the best I can do right now. One of the points it makes is that we are blessed and highly favored. Think about what the consequence was for Mary, who was blessed and highly favored. She had the chance to bear God's son, but at a great cost to reputation. She had to go through the "fire" as a result of that blessing and favor.

Whew. I needed this book.
