Jesus cleans us up!

Postby Erica » Mon Jul 27, 2009 6:07 am

You know the other day I was blessed with the opportunity to serve and honour my mother! It is wonderful to see Christ working in her life and that He uses me:) Wow! And as I was helping her with a few things, the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart how when Jesus finds us all a mess, he doesn't leave us that way. He cleans us up with Himself, leaving us better, more improved! He never leaves us in our own condition, in the condition we were in when He found us! How awesome ... and that is how we need to be thinking about others, that we do not leave them in the condition they are in when we find them. That we leave them with a little love and more cleaned up than when we found them - all through Christ! This was such a blessing to me - I pray it for you as well :)

God bless you all!

Much love in Christ,
Erica

Well said, my dear sister Erica! What a beautiful thought to have.

When that train of thoughts visit us and inhabit us, we become less or changed from being critical and judgmental to a compassionate, sensitive, loving and understanding sister who knows how to release all things to GOD and HIS kingdom to rule all in all.

GOD bless you sister!

Isn't that an awesome feeling? I used to give the analogy of a clean, pretty ball of yarn. All wound tightly and neatly. Then we take it and play with it, tangle it, drop it and get it dirty. Then when we have made a complete mess trying to get it all wound up tight again, we give it back to God. He then patiently unravels the whole mess and slowly starts winding it back up again.

Love you sis, and I love hearing your stories with your mom. God is working a great thing between you and your mom. Lots of life lessons there.

God bless, Melissa
