GT--this prayer was more personal to you and to some issues you sound ot be dealing with. I stand in prayer with and for you. But I also wonder if you need to talk anything out, and are emotionally okay? I know you well enough to know you trust our Lord to get you through anything, but sometimes a "tangible" two-sided talk can also help relieve us from burdens as He guides and counsels through others. Either way--I'm here if you need an ear--or shoulder. *wink*

Thanks so much my dear sister. That surely made me feel your loving and caring hug. Hot tears streamed on my face and I started to write down my journey when I got a tag in my heart as if the HS said, "Not now. There is a time for everything." My lot is to encourage, not to discourage anyone. You might be able to understand and take it but some other readers might not. All of us on earth go thru a refining fire for HIS purpose and for HIS glory so thank you so much for caring and giving me a nudge to share to you anything because you understand. HE will give me stronger heart as trials become intense. We are at the end of time and the devil would like to take whoever is on his way to accomplish his dirty works. But GOD called an army too for HIM to do HIS good works.

FATHER, I pray that YOU will bless my sisters here who are source of strength and encouragement to stand firm and faithful in YOUR call upon our lives. DADDY, please bring revival upon all YOUR people in the four corners of the world. Please convict people of their sins and life style to the point of repentance especially to our households and loved ones. Please remove from them their resistance against the gospel of CHRIST. Please remove timidity from us to speak the truth in a loving way. Please create hunger and thirst upon the peoples of the earth for YOUR word. FATHER, YOU are the only one who can change hearts. Please change our hearts LORD from being stony to a heart of flesh so that we will be able to respond to YOUR call and say, "YOU are our GOD. We will love YOU, serve YOU and obey YOU." Fill us with the knowledge of YOUR will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that we will live a life for YOU pleasing YOU in every way yielding good fruits in every good works. Give us all the powers and grace we need to endure till we see YOU face to face. FATHER we are patiently waiting for the coming of YOUR SON. LORD JESUS, we want to inhabit the mansions YOU have prepared for us. Please come and take us home with all our inheritance. Thank YOU LORD GOD. We are waiting for the latter rain here in the Western parts of the world as we hear good news of revival in the 10/40 window areas of the world from the west of Africa to the Pacific, the poorest and the unreached people are now hearing the gospel and are being saved. We worship YOU LORD for what YOU are doing and have done. I pray all these things in the name of YOUR SON, amen.

Dear Gentletouch, I have been keeping you in prayer. Sometimes the trials and injustices in this life are so hard to deal with. However, we know that all is not in vain because our God watches over all things and is in control. I am praying for God to give you continued strength reassurance and protect you in his loving arms. Of course you know that your sisters on this forum love you dearly. I am not good at quotes but what comes to mind is the quote that says if God is for you then who can be against you.

JESUS came quietly to the world and HE still speaks in a quiet, small voice today. May we hear HIM as HE leads us to the unchartered future. May we learn to leave behind our aches and pains and all that encumber us this year and take a clean slate that the birth of JESUS has given us. May it be the greatest gift that we will experience this Christmas season. I know I had experienced one day as I was wrapping all the gifts I had for my family when the HOLY SPIRIT spoke to me. HE said "Anything for me?" As look at all those gifts, I had not wrapped anything for HIM, so I answered, "LORD, I give myself to YOU. If YOU wrap me in YOUR presence, I know I will never be the same if I let go of myself to YOU. It is not much LORD but will YOU have me?" I did not hear HIS response but I know that HE made me pliable to what HE wants to do with me. HIS conviction became so strong that I must respond to HIS bidding. HE is so kind and true and I experience HIS joy when I obey HIS bidding. HE is forever working in the hearts of men.

Thank you FATHER. Thank you LORD JESUS. Thank you. HOLY SPIRIT.

Silent Night!
The origin of the Christmas carol we know as Silent Night was a poem that was written in 1816 by an Austrian priest called Joseph Mohr. On Christmas Eve in 1818 in the small alpine village called Oberndorf it is reputed that the organ at St. Nicholas Church had broken. Joseph Mohr gave the poem of Silent Night (Stille Nacht) to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber and the melody for Silent Night was composed with this in mind. The music to Silent Night was therefore intended for a guitar and the simple score was finished in time for Midnight Mass. Silent Night is the most famous Christmas carol of all time!

Hello my dear friends. Last night, I could not sleep again. From the news all over the world, my own conclusion is that all countries of the world are like dizzy rats looking for a way out of the present financial crises. Almost all politician from all over the world keep saying that this financial Tsunami that we are in are different than all the years of depression that many past generation have gone through before. In UK many people have started the barter system with clothes. I'm watching what will be developing more. I do n't do this to put myself in maze too but to continue on a worldwide revival. Many were saying that even if President Barack Obama gets the 850 Billion Bailout, it will not solve the financial crises. Would it be the half of the great Tribulation when for 3 and a 1/2 years there would be prosperity followed by 3 and 1/2 years of financial crises again, when there will be marking on foreheads and right hand with 666?

That markings had been used of many leaders who are gone now, but used in our products we consume daily. I'm not sure but many secret service people had been using that to identify where they are from. Apparently, the machines to do it worldwide is in Florida ready to go and would take only a week to do it wordwide. When our foof go through the Scanner, the 666 is there to tell the people where it is manufactured and many more information. My eyes just became blurry but Dr. Mary Relfe of Montgomery Alabama in 1980 wrote a book on 'When YOUR MONEY FAILS' and The NEW MONEY SYSTEM'. I will slowly post what she said that there would come a time that instead of Credit Cards, the marks on the forehead and hands will be the one used to scan us.

Again, pray for a worlwide revival. We will not be here when it happens. Worldwide revival will make our lovedones accept CHRIST and our dear friends will be converted too...

FATHER, I pray that YOU will protect our Pastors, missionaries, Evangelist, Ministers of all churches of the body of CHRIST.

Last week in chuch the sermon mentioned that in England of all places there are ads on buses that read " There probably is no God" Two days later I open the little newspaper "24 hours" and they talked about the fact that some group (aethist based group) raised the minimum $27000 required and apparently Toronto will be having those kinds of advertisements displayed in the future. Then in Ice land I think the new leader is openly gay. news was just depressing.

I also prayed for your friend and his son.

I appreciate this contribution and news Pebbles. Many times, they are pushed under the rug to keep us busy and forget that time of reckoning is fast approaching. I am encouraged to persevere in my prayer for Worldwide revival and salvation of all our brother's and sister's household as their inheritance and re-dedication of their allegiance to CHRIST for all our backsliding family members.

As of now, in the four corners of the world, those who are followers of Satan and members of the new age movements are continuously praying for the downfall of all the Christian ministers and ambassadors of CHRIST. They want the families of our Christian leaders to go down in their services and missionary activities to CHRIST and in their Christian walk.

I just finished reading the book of Peter Wagner entitled "The Prayer Shield" for Pastors, Christian Leaders and others on the Spiritual Frontlines. Dr. Peter Wagner is a professor of Church Growth of Fuller Theological Seminary, School of World Mission in Pasadena, California. A leader in the fields of evangelism and spiritual warfare. Dr. Wagner is author of more than 17 books including Warfare prayer and Engaging the enemy.

For now, I think this is where I will devote my time when I come in the site.

REVIVAL IN HEREFORD, TEXAS

"One of the first real life experience of the power of personal intercession I heard came from my friend Larry Lea. He had just finished seminary and was serving as a youth minister in Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Dallas. The church was growing well, and so was Larry's youth group. He had 1,000 teenagers in his group and it was one of the largest in the area. It was then that he received an invitation to do a citywide evangelistic crusade. The city was Hereford, Texas; population 15,853. Lea had felt that one of his strongest gifts was that of an evangelist and he had great faith that GOD would give him a significant that GOD would give him a significant harvest of souls in Hereford.

The format was the type of citywide crusade in which the evangelist would preach each night in a different one of the cooperating churches. The first night he preached his heart out but no one responded to the invitation.When the second night same thing happened, Larry Lea began to worry. "What's going on? I know my sermons are decent. They are theologically sound. The gospel is clear. What will I say when I get back to Dallas and report to my youth group?"

The third night the meeting was to be held to a Methodist church. Larry had arrived a little bit early when two women approached him. They saw he was nervous so they said "Don't worry brother Lea. We prayed for you today for eight hours." They asked if they could lay on hands to pray for him. When they finished, one of the woman said to him, "Does the phrase 'it is finished mean anything to you?" It was Larry's text for that evening! He preached and 100 responded to the invitation.

The next night, Larry looked for the two women. They prayed for him again and the other woman asked him if he remembered the woman with issues of blood. It was the text he had chosen for that evening.!

Before the week is over, 500 had responded to the preaching and had made decisions for CHRIST. Larry was elated. On the flight back to Dallas, he began rehearsing how he would share the good news of his successful crusade with his youth group. Then in a quiet moment Lea, clearly heard the voice of GOD coming to him and saying, "Son, you had nothing to do with that revival. The reason those people got saved is that somebody prayed the price! "

It was there and then Larry realized and learned the value of personal intecessions for leaders."

PASTORS NEED INTERCESSION

Every Christian needs intercession. The little girl in the 6th grade learning what AIDS means need intercession. The long-haul truck driver trying to witness to his friends about JESUS CHRIST needs intercession. The Christian stock broker wrestling with the ethics of the last deal needs intercession. The mother and homemaker raising a family of four needs intercession. We do not want to ignore the need for more consistent ministries of intercession across the board.

But Peter Wagner would like to argue that Pastors and other Christian leaders need intercession more than ordinary members of the Body of CHRIST. Although he sound arrogant first but he discussed 5 points in which he clarified these points.

1. PASTORS HAVE MORE RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

2.PASTORS ARE MORE SUBJECT TO TEMPTATION.

3.PASTORS ARE MORE TARGETED BY SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

4. PASTORS HAVE MORE INFLUENCE ON OTHERS.

5. PASTORS HAVE MORE VISIBILITY.

I will discuss these points one by one as expounded by Dr. Peter Wagner.
